Ultra-luxury boutique property firm Amali Properties has unveiled plans for a new collection of exclusive luxury villas at World Islands in Dubai.
There will be 24 “ultra-luxurious” beachfront villas along the shores of the Arabian Gulf, which will span a total area of 1.2 million square feet.
Amali Island links Uruguay and São Paolo at World Islands and will offer unobstructed views of the sea, sky and Palm Jumeirah.
A special 10,000-square-foot Clubhouse will serve as the hub of the island and will be exclusively accessible to residents.
It will host a new gourmet restaurant, swim-up bar, horizon and saltwater pools, yoga decks, a spa and gym facilities.
The crown jewel of the island is Villa Avatea which integrates luxury and nature into its design. It sits on a private islet connected to the island with water channels and lush landscaping.
Each villa on Amali Island will feature private stretches of beach, private berths with direct access to the beach, views of the Dubai skyline, Palm Jumeirah and Atlantis The Royal.
Luxurious amenities such as rooftop terraces, outdoor firepits, teppanyaki bars, Jacuzzis and multiple pools will also be part of the designs at the different villas.
Architecturally, the villas will draw inspiration from the Ombu tree of Uruguay, which is considered a symbol of resilience, adaptability and shelter.
The World Islands are situated around 2.5 miles off the coast of Dubai, in the Arabian Gulf, having been built using dredged sand.
Work on the ambitious man-made island project first began in 2003 with the idea being to have a little bit of each continent in Dubai.
The archipelago consists of seven sets of islands – representing the continents of Africa, Antarctica, Asia, Europe, North America, Oceania and South America.
