Mirdif: A well connected suburbia
Once seemingly miles outside of Dubai, Mirdif has grown into a well connected suburbia- with an array shops, nurseries, schools and its own malls – Mirdif Uptown and Mirdif City Centre. The area is located approximately 14km away from Deira City Centre to the south-east. It borders Al Mizhar from the north and Al Warqaa from the south. To the east is the Al Mushrif public park. Located adjacent to the Rashidiya Metro station and the Dubai International Airport, Mirdif is easily accessible from arterial highways including Emirates Road, Airport road, Al Khail and Al Awir Road. The metro station closest to Mirdif is the Rashidiya Metro Station (Red Line). Feeder buses F10 and F3 depart from the station and take 8 and 11 minutes respectively to reach Mirdif area.
