Dubai Creek Harbour: waterfront living facing Downtown
Living in Dubai Creek Harbour
Dubai Creek Harbour is Emaar's waterfront district on the eastern bank of Dubai Creek. It is a still-growing mix of apartment towers, a marina, a man-made beach and parks, with the Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary on one side and the Downtown skyline on the other. It suits people who want a newer home by the water, close to the city centre, and who don't mind a neighbourhood that is still being finished around them.
Daily life here happens outdoors more than in most tower districts. The streets are designed for walking, and people stroll the Harbour Promenade in the evening, take children to Creek Beach at weekends and watch the sunset over the Burj Khalifa from The Viewing Point. Each part of the community feels a little different. Creek Beach is quieter and feels like a small coastal village. The island towers near the marina have more going on, with cafés and restaurants at their base.
Getting around
Most residents drive for now. The community sits where Ras Al Khor Road (E44) meets Nad Al Hamar Road, with Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311) close by. Drive times vary by source. Bayut gives 12 minutes to Dubai International Airport. Property Finder's blog says 15 minutes to both the airport and Downtown, and its area page says under ten minutes to each. Emaar gives 15 minutes to Downtown. We could not find a published drive time to DIFC from a source we trust.
